Heart Lollipop Origami Cover Tutorial

I hope everybody had an amazing 3 days weekend!
As I promissed, today I'm going to teach you how to make the lollipop covers I did last week. Ready?

1 - You are going to need a lollipop to cover, an hole punch and a squared piece of paper. The size will depend on the size of your lollipop. Here, I used a 5.5"x 5.5".
2 - Fold the paper in half.
3 - Fold in half again.
4 - You are going to have a smaller square... now open it.
5 - Fold the bottom up to the center.
6 - Flip the paper over.
7 - Fold the bottom corners until they meet in the center.
8 - Flip over.
9 - Fold the top corners until they meet in the center.
10 - Use the hole punch to make a hole in the bottom part.
11, 12 - Fold the top corner to the bottom corner, without folding the triangles on the sides. They should be folded inside the triangles. Can you see in the picture 12?
13 - Now, we are going to create the heart shape. Fold the 2 triangles on the sides.
14, 15 - Fold the top corners until they meet in the midle, like I did.
16, 17 - Fold the top corners. You should have a heart like you can see in picture 17.
18 - Place your lollipop inside the cover, placing the stick through the hole you did.

Beautiful! :-)

It will look amazing on one of our Lollipop Valentine's Cards.

Also, you can see my romantic fabric designs, including the pattern I used in my lollipop cover, in my Love is in the air collection at Spoonflower.

Feel free to contact me if you need any help and have a great week!
